O’Reilly and Savabeel represent New Zealand’s leading sires of 3YO’s in Australia for 2010/11 season. Pins, O’Reilly and Savabeel 1st, 3rd & 4th for NZ-based Sires of stakes winners in 2010/11. Beautifully NZ bred Staying Filly by the all conquering SAVABEEL whose progeny last seaon won both the Queensland Oaks (Scarlet Lady) and the Victorian Derby (Sangster). Her siblings are by some of the best sires - Pins and High Chapparal and this family will become one of the anchor pins of NZ breeding in time to come. This filly was bred and reared in the fabulous Waikato area in New Zealand so has benefited from the best pasture throughout her life so far. She has been broken in, turned away, has had some further education and is now ready to fly to Australia to commence her racing campaign.
She has been specifically purchased for the Australian/New Zealand Classic Staying races and will be an exciting three year old racing prospect next season, with, ultimately, the Melbourne Cup in mind. She is very closely related to some superb staying three year olds in Britain and with the tremendous Savabeel influence in her Southern Hemisphere pedigree she looks to be one of the most exciting racing prospect around.
